POD: A Wonderful Day at Fletcher’s Farm!
The morning began with a few sprinkles, and we worried the rain might spoil our field trip. Luckily, the clouds cleared and the weather turned out beautiful for the whole day!
We started with a quick assembly to go over expectations for the trip. During the assembly, our new Kindergarten students were so excited to receive their brand-new Cubs shirts. After that, we packed our snacks and water bottles and loaded the buses.
The morning at Fletcher’s Farm was amazing! Students explored the corn maze, fed goats, climbed hay hills, played in the corn box, tried pedal carts, bounced on tires, enjoyed a tractor ride, and much more. The best part was how well everyone behaved—our Cubs truly represented Napan with pride.
We returned to school just in time for lunch and a little outdoor play before the afternoon. Guidance with Mrs. Lehnart took us back outside, where she shared her love of nature. Later, in Social Studies with Ms. Doucet, we began looking ahead to Terry Fox Day and Orange Shirt Day.
The day wrapped up with some Responsible Choice time, signing our home-to-school books, cleaning the classroom, and preparing for dismissal.
And finally—a special good luck to our Cubs soccer team, playing tonight at 3:45 at Max Aitken. Go Cubs go!
