Welcome Back to a New School Year!

What an exciting first day back at Napan Elementary! I was so happy to see everyone again and to start this new year together.

We spent much of the day reviewing our routines—some familiar and some brand new. While many of our classroom routines remain the same, a few school-wide routines have changed. For example, we now have a new bell schedule: our nutrition break comes between classes, followed by recess a little later. Lunch is shorter at 20 minutes, but our outdoor playtime remains the same.

We also had the chance to meet some of the wonderful people who will be supporting our learning this year, including Mrs. Corcoran (academic support), Mrs. Lehnart (guidance), and Ms. Doucet (Science/Social Studies).

Today, we kept the work light and focused on rehearsing routines. Everyone was successful and positive—it was a great start! I know this year will be full of learning and fun. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime.
