The Government of New Brunswick is developing a new education plan for the Anglophone sector, focused on setting clear goals and supporting every learner. As part of this process, families, educators, and community members are invited to share their input through a series of consultations taking place across the province.
These consultations are an opportunity for everyone to help shape the next Anglophone Education Plan, which will be released in Spring 2026. Feedback collected during this process will be summarized in a What We Heard report, expected in Winter 2026.
Families in the Anglophone North School District can share their thoughts in several ways:
You can also send additional comments or questions to [email protected].
This is a chance for families across ASD-N to ensure their voices are part of the conversation about the future of education in New Brunswick.

Your Idea Can Inspire a Community of Learners
Anglophone North School District is now accepting name suggestions for the new Campbellton K–8 school, opening in September 2026.
We’re excited to hear from students, families, and community members as we search for a name that represents the pride, culture, and values of the Campbellton area.
Do you have a meaningful name in mind? Submit your suggestion by December 12th using the online form below.
When you submit the form, your personal details will only be collected if you choose to include them. All submissions become the property of Anglophone North School District and will be reviewed by the Naming Committee.
The committee will narrow submissions to three final options, which will be presented to the ASD-N District Education Council (DEC) in January. The DEC will then select one name to forward to the Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development for final approval.
The successful name will be announced in Spring 2026.

Seventeen 8th grade leadership students from Max Aitken Academy recently spent an incredible three days at New Brunswick’s beautiful Mount Carleton Provincial Park. Students set up camp, canoed, hiked, and worked together while demonstrating outstanding teamwork, thoughtfulness, and leadership throughout the experience.
This special outdoor learning opportunity allowed students to be fully present with nature while reflecting on the importance of connection to the land. During the trip, students took time to acknowledge Indigenous perspectives as they observed both Truth and Reconciliation Day and Treaty Day over their stay at the park.
We are extremely proud of the collaboration, respect, and sense of community shown by these young leaders. A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who helped make this memorable trip possible, including NB Parks, ASD-N and MAA.
Wela’lin!
